Hey there, this our first blog. Maybe three people will read it, but that’s okay. I’ve always wanted to BLOG, and where else can you find a storekeeper blogging? Nowhere, I tell you. Anyway, welcome to this 200 year-old store’s first website. It’s very basic, we know, not many bells and whistles. But we felt like this special store should have a place on the web. And it is a special store, rich with history and beloved by all (okay, most – you can’t please everyone. We try, but it’s impossible.) who walk through the door.
In this blog you can find out what’s happening here on a semi-regular basis, much to the tune of the From the Country Store articles in the Mt. Gazette. Right now, it’s February, and these are the dog days of store business. It’s pretty quiet, but then again, most businesses are very quiet right now. It’s scary.
